Coach Biographies

The coaches of Maximum Acceleration™ are talented professionals who were carefully selected in order to ensure the best possible experience for everyone who participates in the program.

Our professional coaches have a wide variety of business experience. Their backgrounds range from executive coaching and career management consulting to mortgage experience, sales training, and leadership development. While each coach brings a unique perspective to their clients, everyone has been thoroughly trained in the Maximum Acceleration tools and methodology.
Maximum Acceleration values the talents of our coaches, and seeks to utilize their insights to the benefit of everyone involved. Each week, the MA Coaching team meets to identify challenges and share solutions with each other.

Maximum Acceleration Coaches

Brad Korn Brad Korn brings a wealth of real estate experience to mortgage originators as a Maximum Acceleration Coach. He addresses practical issues that lenders are continually challenged by and provides them with easily implemented action plans. Brad’s direct approach to coaching is phenomenal.

Brad will share best practices, strategies, tools and technology used in the real estate arena. Brad will instruct you on how to build strong bonds with real estate agents and become a necessary partner that they simply cannot live without. You will learn the synergy of creating affiliate partnerships as an extended team, in which all parties involved reap tremendous benefits and rewards.

Cris Lang

Cris Lang, a certified and nationally recognized business coach and speaker, is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and brings over 22 years of experience and proven success in sales management, marketing, coaching, and business ownership.

In addition to his work with Maximum Acceleration Cris also runs the Pittsburgh franchise office for The Growth Coach, the nation’s leader in business coaching. 

Cris is also a consultant for the world renowned company Franklin/Covey, where he helps enable greatness in organizations by delivering workshops on Organizational Focus, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People for employees and managers, Unleashing Talent for business leaders, and Building Business Acumen.  His client list includes companies like Lockheed Martin, Heinz, Ernst and Young, Diageo, and the American Management Association.

Cris joined The Maximum Acceleration team in 2006 and has also been a key content contributor to LoanToolbox.com since that time.  He was also voted a “Person on a Mission” for that company, an exclusive award given only to a few high achievers on the team each year.  Cris has helped countless originators and business owners to reach their goals faster than they ever thought possible.

Before his career in coaching, Cris spent many years in the “for-profit” training and education field at the director and vice president level.  During that time, he was hired by the nation’s two largest education companies to revive under-performing businesses.  In one case, the business showed 110% improvement over prior year.  He also ran multiple sales and marketing divisions, developed and implemented business-training curriculum, and personally taught and mentored hundreds of students and employees.  Cris’ practical, hands-on approach to management improvement focuses on the 5 M’s: Mining for the right employees, Mapping out expectations and direction, continual Mentoring/training, Monitoring accountability, and Motivating individuals and teams to a positive culture.

Cris, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is also the owner of Lang Properties (a real estate investment company), is a licensed producer of life insurance and annuities, has multiple certifications in sales and management training (including Integrity Selling®), and has appeared on national television and in fortune 50  training videos.  A former competitive swimmer, he enjoys swimming for a local masters program and spending time with his wife and three children.

Erik Janeczko Erik JaneczkoMaximum Acceleration Head Coach is a certified and nationally recognized business coach and speaker.  A native of Southwest Missouri, Erik got his start in sales at age 13, working several weekends a month in a family trade show lead generation business.

Since leaving college in 1996, Erik has a proven track record of success in sales, management and coaching roles in the mortgage industry and business community. In this time he consistently achieved Top performer status, through the business development and communication techniques he learned, and now shares with clients.

In 2005 Erik shifted his focus full time to his true passion of helping people achieve accelerated performance growth & massive success.  Erik served as a lead member on the development team that built  the Maximum Acceleration & Critical MASS coaching programs, along with the MSS Business Planning Tool, which combined, has a track record with well over 1,500 clients achieving an average growth exceeding 40% in their first 6 months of the program. As Head Coach leads the team of coaches through regular masterminding sessions to help the team continue to refine and sharpen their skill at developmental growth acceleration. Erik has been a featured presenter for companies ranging from Wells Fargo, National City Bank, Re/Max, Mortgage Success Source, Gateway, United Communications Group,   Wachovia Securities, Rotary international and  several state and national trade association conferences, as well as regional non-profit groups and churches. His presentations & workshops are developed from thousands of hours spent doing hands-on research & field testing, sharing only proven tactics that have been refined in the real world laboratory of coaching several top performers, to new peaks of success. 

Away from work Erik enjoys a fulfilling life singing in both group and solo performances for churches and community groups. As well as serving on several charity and chamber economic development boards and networking groups including Rotary and the Mid- Missouri Referral Alliance. Erik also thoroughly enjoys spending time with his best friend and Wife since 1997 Laurie. As well as his 3 boys;  Blake95, Brenden01, Grayson04, and daughter Marina06.

Stephanie York Stephanie York brings 18 years of business development knowledge to coaching. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Marketing specializing in research and product development.

Stephanie enjoyed working through her company York Consulting in Los Angeles to help smaller businesses develop brand awareness, marketing campaigns as well as systems for customer service and employee development. Helping individuals and business owners achieve financial success as well as strong business models is incredibly rewarding. She has coached hundreds of people through corporate programs as well as national training organizations to build better economic models, marketing platforms and business plans.

Even though Stephanie speaks on a national stage and enjoys group trainings it is truly the one on one coaching that is at the heart of her passion. She considers co-actively coaching an individual to achieve business and personal success as one of the most rewarding jobs there are. Earl McLain Earl McLain brings over 30 years of experience as a speaker, coach, and trainer. Earl has affected the lives of thousands of people looking to enhance their life and career.

Earl's engaging charismatic style, authenticity and expertise in adult learning have become an integral part of the team. From teaching self development seminars to marketing and sales training curriculum, Earl has proven to be an intricate part of national corporations such as Challenge to America, By Referral Only and IntoHomes University.

Earl honestly cares about helping people and is a master at uncovering a person's true desires. Earl believes that you really can get anything you want out of life, as long as you help enough people get what they want.

Derek Egeberg Derek Egeberg is a Branch Manager with Academy Mortgage Corporation and has over 10 years of experience in mortgage lending as both a mortgage broker and a mortgage banker in Yuma, Arizona.

Derek's passion is helping first time home buyers overcome their fears and misconceptions about necessary down payments and credit history. This passion along with unique personal client touches and systems allow Derek to guide his clients through the home loan process.

National Mortgage Professional Magazine named Derek one of the "top 40 under 40" mortgage professionals in the country. He is an avid networker active in both BNI and Rotary clubs. Derek brings with him a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in which he graduated Cum Laude and is actively working towards his MBA.

Derek and his wife Sheri are the proud parents of 3 boys who have now figured out how to play every video game known to mankind.
